Linking the new intake at Lake King William to a future new conveyance that will feed water into Tarraleah Power Station, the 1km tunnel for the Tarraleah hydropower scheme in Tasmania, Australia was started to construct using drill and blast method.<\/p>\n

Considering that the downstream tunnel portal recently was completed by Hazell Bros, it enables the next phase of upgrades to commence.<\/p>\n
In order to maximizing hydro capacity, build long-duration storage and deliver clean, reliable energy, Tarraleah is a crucial part of Hydro Tasmania\u2019s Battery of the Nation initiative.
