As the latest landmark the breakthrough of the 1,200m-long south barrel diaphragm on the Roseto 1 Tunnel on the Ionian highway in southern Italy was done and work is progressing.<\/p>\n
Behalf of Italy\u2019s state road agency, ANAS,which is a part of the infrastructure division of FS Italiane Group, Webuild has now completed 57% of the Mega Lot 3 contract. It commenced works on the Calabria section of the Ionian highway in May 2020.<\/p>\n
Including 10km of tunnels, which are three rock tunnels and 11 cut and cover tunnels, and 7km of viaducts, Mega Lot 3 covers a 38km section of the Ionian highway.
