Determined date for commencing the works is May and will take about two years to complete.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With 270km length the North Bothnia Line is a new freight and passenger railway between Ume\u00e5 and Lule\u00e5 that is due to enable faster, safer and more sustainable transport. It will serve as an extension of the existing Bothnia high-speed railway line which opened in 2010.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The North Bothnia Line and the entire Bothnian corridor is included in the core network corridor Scandinavian-Mediterranean, or ScanMed.
