An 88:12 JV of Gamuda<\/a> and Asia World Engineering & Construction Co.<\/a> received Yellow Line contract YC01 from Kaohsiung\u2019s Mass Rapid Transit Bureau, covering civil works in the NiaoSong district.<\/p>\n

The contract is a 107-month design and build one, granted on October 25, and is worth NT$23\u00b74bn.<\/p>\n

It covers 0\u00b79 km of elevated metro track with one elevated station provisionally appointed Y1, and 3\u00b75 km of the twin-bore tunnel with three underground stations assigned Y2, Y3, and Y4, the latter at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital.<\/p>\n

Following the 3\u00b77 km Taoyuan City underground commuter railway package CJ18 granted in October 2022, this project is the second rail project in Taiwan to be undertaken by the JV of Malaysia\u2019s Gamuda and local partner AWEC.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
