Presently, Warszawa Zachodnia station is being rebuilt and will be performed by the scheduled Warszawa \u2013 \u0141\u00f3d\u017a high-speed line.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The northwest-to-southeast tram route will incorporate a 500 m-long tunnel beneath Al Jerozolimskie and Park Pi\u0119ciu Si\u00f3str with an underground stop. As part of this project, a traction substation will be constructed and local roads remodeled.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tramwaje Warszawskie granted the contract on October 6 and is worth 365\u00b75m z\u0142oty. The selection criteria were weighted 95% on price and 5% on relevant experience; the winning proposal was far above Tramwaje Warszawskie\u2019s estimation of 276\u00b73m z\u0142oty.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Construction is planned to begin next year and is said to be finished within two years.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>On October 6, the construction of an 800 m one-stop tram branch to Stegny in the south of the city began.
