{"id":12505,"date":"2023-08-19T08:44:46","date_gmt":"2023-08-19T08:44:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tunnelingworld.com\/?p=12505"},"modified":"2023-08-19T08:44:46","modified_gmt":"2023-08-19T08:44:46","slug":"ita-tunnelling-awards-attract-53-entries","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tunnelingworld.com\/?p=12505","title":{"rendered":"ITA Tunnelling Awards Attract 53 Entries"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On 24 November following the Tunnelling Asia Conference from November 22-23, Mumbai will host the 9th edition of the ITA Tunnelling Awards, which has received 53 entries from 15 countries for this year\u2019s Tunnelling Awards.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The location of this banquet ceremony will be the Majestic Hotel ITC Maratha, while it is offered as a digital hybrid event for those who cannot attend in person.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The finalists will be announced in September and their pre-recorded presentations will be available on the digital platform before the conference.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This year\u2019s awards feature eight categories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Major Project of the Year \u2013 over \u20ac500m<\/li>\n<li>Project of the Year \u2013 \u20ac50-500m<\/li>\n<li>Project of the Year including Renovation \u2013 up to \u20ac50m<\/li>\n<li>Technical Innovation of the Year<\/li>\n<li>Beyond Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Product\/Equipment Innovation of the Year<\/li>\n<li>Innovative Underground Space Use<\/li>\n<li>Young Tunneller of the Year<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Presenting significant achievements in tunneling and the underground industry, this international competition is being held since 2015 and the event showcases the most ambitious underground projects as well as the latest innovations, techniques, and methods in tunneling.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The theme of this year\u2019s Tunnelling Asia Conference is Climate resilience and sustainability in tunneling and underground space.
