A competitive procedure with negotiation for the Valby tunnel construction to protect Copenhagen and Frederiksberg against flooding in connection with rainfall events is ongoing. The deadline is said to be 30\/06\/2023.<\/p>\n

The tunnel must be able to compile stormwater from Frederiksberg West and Valby and lead it additionally into Kalveboderne through Enghave Kanal close to Sydhavnstippen.<\/p>\n

The 2,382 m long tunnel will be excavated about 15 – 21 m below ground level in the limestone. A total of four shafts will be set for the drilling work.<\/p>\n

The contract is worth EUR 67.13 million (DKK500 million), excluding VAT. The duration of the contract will be from 20\/12\/2023 to 30\/06\/2028.<\/p>\n
