Murphy &#038; Sons Ltd.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In summer 2019, construction of a new 6.5km pipeline for Wessex Water was started by J Murphy &#038; Sons. Linking Bristol\u2019s trunk sewer in Lawrence Weston to the Frome Valley relief sewer near Cribbs Causeway, it will direct waste more efficiently around North Bristol to the water recycling center in Avonmouth.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Using an EPB TBM with the remaining 1km predominantly constructed and open cut methods, 5.5km of 2.85m diameter segmentally lined tunnel has been completed.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block; margin: auto;\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/North-Bristol-Relief-Sewer-TBM.jpg\" alt=\"North Bristol Relief Sewer TBM\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The presentation will provide an overview of the project, the initial optioneering that was carried out to develop the scheme, &#038; discuss progress and achievements to date. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As an in-person event it can also be streamed online <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/CVt3Bw_EdKI\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tea and coffee will be served from 18:00 onwards, while AGM commences at 18.30.
