Tunneling Festival Conference Program’s Focus Subject is Announced

According to NCE’s Tunneling Festival conference program’s statement, the main focus of this event will be on tunneling projects both in the UK and internationally.

The determined date for this event is 08/12/ 2021 at the Leonardo Royal Tower Bridge while the daytime conference will be followed by an evening awards ceremony.

HS2, Hinkley Point C, Tideway, Bank Station Capacity Upgrade, and the second phase of London Power Tunnels, are the UK projects which are due to take to the tunneling stage, while the afternoon program includes updating the international projects such as the Brenner Base Tunnel, Line 2 of the Kuala Lumpur MRT projects and the Grand Paris Express.

Resources to deliver future tunneling projects will come under the spotlight during the client panel which will include Transport for London head of tunnels Farid Achha, Anglian Water strategic projects director James Crompton, National Highways asset needs manager for tunnels John Nicholas and National Grid project supervisor Sarah Woolham-Jaffer.

The final stage of conference program will see a fireside chat with Tideway CEO Andy Mitchell.
