While on the 31st January, the Kystverket (Norwegian Coastal Administration) in Gardermoen will host the Supplier Conference, that is in relation to the Stad ship tunnel construction project, its participants are around 50 contractors and suppliers until now. Some of the main enthusiastic of this event are from Norway and some from other countries, whereas among them there are companies that have the capability to build the tunnel as well as numerous more specialized suppliers, interested in subcontracting the main contract.

Presenting draft parts of the tender for the general contract to the participants of the Supplier Conference by Kystverket, end of 2023 is estimated date for publication of the tender.
The aim of revealing advance information is to give the market a basis for constructive dialogue at the Supplier Conference and subsequent one-to-one talks with potential turnkey contractors. Collection of the feedback on the draft tender documents will assist to optimize the tender. Additionally, Kystverket sent suppliers specific questions about tender documents, qualification requirements, award criteria and more, asking for answers. The deadline of accessing to the draft notice and providing a written contribution is 15/02/2023 and suppliers must first register their interest here.
